At VoiceType Pro, your privacy is our core engineering principle. Unlike traditional dictation tools, we prioritize local sovereignty over cloud convenience.
All audio recording and transcription is performed locally on your Windows hardware using our Sovereign Brains. We never upload your audio or transcripts to our servers for processing.
We collect minimal telemetry required for subscription management (Email, Tier status). We do not track the content of what you dictate.
If you choose to use a Groq API key, your text (not audio) is sent to Groq for high-speed processing according to their privacy policy. This is entirely optional and disabled by default.
You have full control over your data. All local settings and learning maps are stored in your %AppData% folder and can be deleted at any time.
