Privacy Policy

The short version

Your dictation is 100% offline: your audio and your text never leave your machine. Our servers never see, store, or process anything you say or type. The only usage-related data that exists for license keys is a daily aggregate minute count — no content, no app names, no timestamps — and it exists so your daily allowance can be shared across your own installations.

What stays on your machine (always)

• Your audio — recorded, transcribed locally, and discarded by the app. Never uploaded.
• Your dictated text — typed directly into the app you're using. Never uploaded.
• The offline speech model — runs locally (Whisper), no internet needed for dictation.

What leaves your machine (and only this)

• License usage: an aggregate daily minute count for your key (hashed before storage) — this is how your 24h/day allowance is shared across your own installations. No content, no app names, no timestamps beyond the calendar day.
• Optional cloud engine: if you switch on the Groq cloud engine, the text you dictate in that mode is processed by Groq for restructuring. This is strictly opt-in, off by default, and clearly labelled in the app. It does not include our offline privacy guarantee.
• Payments: handled entirely by PayPal. We never see card details — only your PayPal email address, your license key, and the PayPal transaction reference.

Accounts & the portal

The download portal uses passwordless sign-in (magic link) with your email address. We store your email, your license/subscription state, and support tickets you send us. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with anyone except the processors required to run the service (Supabase for data storage and authentication, PayPal for payments, Google Analytics on the website only — never inside the app).
